A large Mitchells & Butler pub operating under the Sizzler brand,the apex entrance leads directly to the drinking area around the bar and to the right.Lots of high tables ,various sports flatscreens on mute,a large one along a side wall with a darts throw across it.
To the left is an area with dining tables and seating booths while further back there was another section with fitted bench seating and more dining tables .There were more ,smaller flatscreens which just seemed to be carrying adverts and whats coming next on Sky . Naturally given the low priced pub grub the interior away from the drinking area will have lots of families.I know the pub is not responsible for screaming kids,but the lack of parental control was worrying on my trip with kids running around and shreiking for attention.However many of ther parents where just big childen themselves ,my guess even if all of them worked together they still couldn't pass GCSE Maths.
At the bar two handpumps serving Doom Bar and Bass,vinegar tang NBSS 1. No need to revisit ,awful and best avoided.
