Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Butcher's Arms
Formerly the Old Bramshall Inn, this friendly village pub is now known as the Butcher's Arms. The indoor space is L-shaped. Those customers inside were gathered in a small area ready to watch the Scotland v South Africa Rugby World Cup game. This was also showing in the larger section nearer the car park. There was also one other punter on the outdoor patio, also overlooking the car park.
3 real ales from Uttoxeter were on - Admiral Gardner First Lord, Bunting's Blonde & The Butcher's Bitter. Presumably the latter was a house beer. I couldn't ascertain whether or not it was one of their other beers re-badged. A Titanic Plum Porter clip was turned round.
We found the greeting, service whilst we were there and even the goodbyes to be particularly friendly. Whilst this is a fairly basic pub, I wouldn't be too disappointed to have this pub as my local.
