Blacksmiths Lounge is situated on the pedestrianised Sadler Gate.
Once inside there is a single square shaped room with the bar facing, the floor is wood laminate and the seating is settees and small fluffy stools, not what i like to sit on.
There are no real ales on,which was no susprise,i opted for the cheapest lager which was Vedette, this was slightly too fizzy for my liking.
The bar staff were friendly and there was background music playing.
When i passed a little later in the day there was a bloke dong some live music.
Not my type of place at all.

A small one roomer on one of Derby's pedestrianised streets which means you can sit outside at the tables at the front. It's nicely done inside with low stools and sofas. It's all a bit generic though. They have live acoustic music fairly regularly. No real ale, in fact the only draught available was Vedette which was a bit OTT at £4.50 per pint. Not really my sort of place, but the other half liked it so we may be back.
