Will Larter left this review about Old Mill
A recent conversion of some ground floor rooms in what I guess was formerly a mill, the Old Mill is accessed through an archway off the High Street which is indicated by the presence of an A-board. Through the door, a corridor leads to the sliding door which leads into the bar. If it's a cold day, it's a good idea to slide the door closed behind you! The bar is on the left with the main room in front. Three hand pumps had beers from Monty's, Raw and Hopcraft.
There was a lively atmosphere and the eclectic background music was matched by the décor - mirrors, magazine pages and buffalo horns. The accents I heard were mostly home counties rather than mid Wales. Old hippies, and their children (and grandchildren) would feel at home here. We returned on Sunday but left when the number of folk musicians reached critical mass.
