Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Pen & Cob (The Bedford Swan)

Venerable hotel, dating from 1794-96, and designed by Henry Holland to replace an earlier inn of the same name. Mostly very traditional inside, although the former wood-panelled bar has been relocated a short distance to a very shiny modern 'Pen & Cob' bar located just beyond the matching madeover dining room. Background music. Two of three handpumps in use, offering Marston's EPA and the local Eagle IPA (£4.00).
