A little cafe bar, with the cafe in the glazed entrance section, and a cosier cocktail-style bar in the original building to the side. It is mainly furnished with wooden-topped tables and metal chairs, with further tables in the street outside under an awning. A couple of mainstream craft keg brews of the Goose Island/Camden variety were much as expected, but the place is friendly enough and perfectly happy to serve drinkers. It also seems to act as the front for a club behind.

Basically a cafe with a few beers on, no need to buy food so it counts, just. Looks like it’s built in an alley (snickleway in the York dialect) with a glass cone over the top. The food appears to come from one of the other cafe bars next door. Three beers, Goose IPA, Brahma and Becks Vier, a fruit cider holds fourth position on an horseshoe. I had the Goose and it was foul. Lots of gin and cocktail type spirits. I’ve done it so you don’t need to.
