A small high street cafe bar in a former shop premises, which feels like a 1960s throwback. It's a bit more modern n some respects though, in that they host karaoke and open mic nights, and there is a TV showing live sports. Their main daytime trade is cooked breakfasts, then the morning coffee set. They sometimes offer real ale - Tribute is their standard - but only keg was available when we visited, the drink of choice being Neck Oil on this occasion. The young barman was cheerful, but there was no real atmosphere when we came in. OK or cafe stuff, and I'd be happy to come in for breakfast, but by no means the best pub in the area.
