Will Larter left this review about Ferry Inn
Partly hidden behind a hedge, the Ferry Inn is in two discrete parts, the main entrance apparently being for residents and the small corner door, marked Bistro Bar, for those wanting a drink or food. It's more like a modern cafe-bar than a pub on first impressions, with bare boards and grey-painted tongue and groove everywhere, including the bar counter. It was almost full at the time of my visit, quite late on a Friday evening, but it's so small that there were not much more than half a dozen people here when I walked in. The bar has the welcome sight of three hand pumps, although there was just the one beer: Loch Ness Brewery's Wilderness, which was up to my expectations from this well-run brewery.
