In spite the previous reviews or non-reviews I persevered and went in, two handpumps with Belhaven 80/- and Old Golden Hen, both awful beers so I had a half of Tennents which wasn’t good so god knows what any cask ale would be like. Anyhoo; its a modern building with a bar at the front and dining up a short flight of stairs. Two big horseshoes of keg delights plus the aforementioned two pulls. Loads of screens on Sky Sports, too many to count and noisy music, Marie Celeste staff made this a don’t bother.

I was thinking of popping in here after leaving Ryrie's, but a quick glance through the window showed only one hand pump, out of maybe three, with a pump clip, and that was Abbot Ale. Decided to walk on.

Large 2 floor bar/restaurant located across the road from Haymarket station. 2 bars serve 4 real ales and "craft keg".
