Blue Scrumpy left this review about Worleys at The Swan
The Swan is a corner pub on the High Street with an adjacent cafe/bistro. This is very much a music-oriented pub. Walls are covered in LPs, music pictures and guitars. On our early Saturday evening visit, loud music was playing with a few women on a dancefloor. In fact, the clientele was predominantly female and mostly middle-aged. Bouncers were on the door. One corner was decked out as if there would be a wedding party, whilst another corner said that it was reserved from 7pm. Luckily we were only after a swift half and we departed at around 7pm. In fact when we returned, the pub appeared to be completely closed for a private function (perhaps the wedding party) with the bouncers having sealed off the entrance and the area we had been sat in being used by a band. Seating in one area was on hollowed out beer casks.
There is also a small outdoor drinking area in front of the cafe nextdoor. The cafe can also be accessed from the rear of the pub.
As is usual for this area, the regular beers are Wye Valley HPA & Butty Bach. However, on what was our 9th pub of the day, I found a beer that I'd never tried before. The guest beer was Bewdley Worcestershire Way. Apparently, there is a CAMRA discount. I missed out on this. Ciders were Inch's and 3 different varieties of Old Mout on tap - Mixed Berries, Kiwi & Lime and Raspberry & Pineapple.
This was certainly a very lively sort of place and the adjoining cafe/bistro is a novel idea. It was perhaps a little too noisy and boisterous for my liking but I did at least find a new beer to try.

Black or is it a very dark grey exterior to this one, nice enough building but leaving you unprepared for the inside. The name, variously The Swan or Worley’s at the Swan or Mimi’s if you’re looking at the adjacent restauranty bit, is similarly disarming perhaps some poncy restaurant masquerading as a pub? Nope, step inside my friend and it’s classic music pub, the counter is covered with Marshall amp cases, the surfaces that in a CAMRA’s pub would be pump clips are covered in photos of music stars or music press clippings, walls are covered with LP’s. A couple of guitars are preserved in glass cases. Six pumps on the counter but just two working, a reasonable Wye Valley HPA and Bewdley Worcestershire Way, plenty of standard kegs otherwise. Raised areas either side of the entrance, normal chairs and tables one side, oil drum seating the other. Small stage at the back for live music, and a decent, for this old bloke, soundtrack wise. It does pizza and burgers so the odours can put you off the beer. Popped in the next day, it was the Marie Celeste behind the bar so I left after 5 minutes of waiting for service.

I liked the décor in here with all the vinyl and music cuttings. The 2 ales on when I called where Butty Bach and Dartmoor Jail Ale. I went for the latter which was excellent. Worth a visit if in town.

A good sized music venue pub which used to showcase lots of bands and before Covid, customers would be four deep at the bar. The main features in here was the collection of electric guitars in display cabinets around the walls, along with vinyl records. This pub is now more food led, however they did have two ales on handpump serving up Bewdley Worcestershire Way and Wye Valley HPA. Both beers were in excellent condition.
