Strongers . left this review about Doncaster Brewery Tap

Doncaster Brewery Tap is a single room bare board floor micro with bench seating across the front windows and up the left-hand wall. A piano is found in the front right, but everyone’s attention was taken by the weekly Tuesday evening quiz that was in progress. The serving counter across the rear supports twelve hand pumps with six ales to the right and six ciders to the left. I went for a pint of Doncaster Brewery’s Handsome Pat which is a decent session beer. The service was friendly and the locals were equally nice, so I think this is currently my favourite bar in Donny.

Nicely-done GBG brewpub taproom in a shop conversion, so get your micropub shoes on. Immediately struck by how busy it was when all others I did on Sunday afternoon (bar the Little Plough) were deathly quiet. Décor is best described as ‘three shades of green’ with a solid wood floor and sensible seating; nicer than it perhaps sounds. Six cask and six ciders available. Three of the cask were theirs, my Green Oak was fresh, well-brewed and tasty (NBSS 3.5) served-up by a chatty, professional lady who made me feel at home instantly despite me being an obvious one-drop interloper; I was invited to try the free Sunday lunch buffet - little things etc. If it wasn’t for my booked train back down south (and a liver already maxxed-out from two prior days on the sauce in Lincolnshire) I would have absolutely stayed for longer. Next time, I will. 8.5

We paid a return visit to this Brewery Tap early on a midweek evening. Being a converted shop, it very much has the feeling of a micropub. It was quite busy whilst we were there, with quite a few regulars and beer tickers.

Sand House is the regular beer. Additional beers from the brewery were 203 Minutes, Cheswold Bitter & Wishbone T'Pol. However, as with my last visit, the excellent cider range drew me in - Village Green Classical Dry & Sweet Country, Udders Waterloo Sunset Perry & Lindley Gold, Abrahall's Strawberry & Lime Cider & Ascension Champing At The Pit. I tried a couple that I'd not had before, leaving me no time to try the Doncaster brews. There is a reason why this is the local CAMRA cider pub of the year.

Whilst I used to like Cask Corner when it was open, I believe this is now Doncaster's best pub.

I called in here on my way to Peterborough, having arranged a gap between trains to take in a pub or two in Donny. The pub had only just opened (12 noon on Saturday) but there was a ukulele player already warming up and a couple of people on their way to a Pride march through the town. More pertinently, there were a large number of beers and ciders arrayed across a dozen hand pumps on the bar. Service was friendly and the beer I had, the brewery's own Cheswold Bitter in reasonable condition, though a little underwhelming taste-wise. I'm sure I'll be back when Luton Town appear here later in the season. (The toilets are upstairs, which involves going through the door at the back and through the brewery premises and another door - to the right rear - to access the stairs.)

Having opened in 2014 this is now a veteran micropub. It is a proper one with no TVs etc. It's on the larger side and was doing a good trade on a Saturday afternoon.
There are now twelve hand pumps which had six ciders, four Doncaster ales and two guests Muirhouse Greedy King and Half Moon Dark Masquerade. I went for the Doncaster Mucky Bucket (£3.00) which was excellent. It's well worth a visit and is GBG 2018 listed.

Called into this 2016 Good Beer Guide bar on a CAMRA coach trip and enjoyed choosing from the selection of 5 Doncaster ales on tap. They also had a guest ale from Raw brewery, and some ciders too. Popular bar on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a piano and some ukulele playing patrons. Good atmosphere.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Doncaster Brewery Tap

Basic shop-conversion micro-pub, with little to say for it, apart from the beer and convivial atmosphere of course! Also has an upstairs room; which, like the toilets, is reached via the brewery so you can do an impromptu tour en route. Decent selection of five house ales, including the 1194 Charter porter (£3.00), and two ciders available from a total of nine handpumps. My stop was also enlivened by listening and watching the local ukulele club session in full swing.

Old Boots left this review about Doncaster Brewery Tap

Brewery Tap in a micro pub now open from noon Thursday- Sunday, closed Monday, from 5 Tuesday/Wednesday. Looking like a shop conversion it's a box with a big clear window at the front, a plywood bar at the back and much better than basic seating in between - proper tables and comfy chairs with some hard bench seating round two walls. Five pulls with own brews plus 2 guests and 2 cider/perrys, in of course excellent condition. No food but it does occasional music.
Toilets are reached via the brewery!
