Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tankerton Arms
Set back from the Marine Parade by one block, and almost more of a mini-pub than a micro one, but this is an excellent spot for a pint. Quite a few tables, but the layout is uncluttered and appearance light (aided by a roof-light by the notional counter near the back). Also has some benches out on the front patio. Five real ales on offer, all dispensed on gravity from the rear cool room: Romney Marsh Gold, Woodforde's Red Admiral, Racing Tiger from Angels & Demons (£3.20), Wantsum Yellow Tail and Good Lord Porter from Goody Ales.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Tankerton Arms
A good 10 min walk from the train station and a 20 min walk back into town, after our visit here. This micropub had a good atmosphere and seemed to have attracted a lot of the locals looking for a decent beer, which this place certainly had. The pub was long and narrow with high pine bench seating down each side. The beer was kept in a cold room at the rear of the pub and all the ales were on stillage. The service was fast and friendly and prices were very reasonable. Five ales to choose from Bespoke Brewery Saved by the Bell, two from Springhead, Beat Ales and one from Turnstone. I went for the Bespoke Saved by the Bell, which was excellent and very refreshing, there was also five ciders to choose from. The main toilets were right at the back of the pub, behind an office.

This one is set in an Eastern suburb of Whitstable not far from the seafront and is a fair walk from the centre. The daytime bus services were good, I got a 4 out and a 6 back.
It's a single rectangular room with a more neutral colour scheme than the Black Dog. Once again it has just tall tables and benches. Old photographs adorn the walls and high shelves on each side display a collection of beer bottles. On my Thursday early afternoon visit there were about ten people in but there was still seating available.
Just three beers were on from the cold room Wantsum 1383 & Golgotha Stout and Kent Prohibition IPA. I went for the Kent beer which was outstanding. I thought this was a good micropub, it's a shame there is no room for lower tables and seating.
This one has more typical micropub hours :-
