Lovely looking pub inside and out, however the burgers ordered where burnt one was in 3 pieces and the relish non existent. The roast dinner claiming to have homemade yorkshire puds looked like they came from the value freezer section, the stuffing was a slimy lump and you could have broken a tooth on the pigs in blankets. Terrible considering you are paying around £13.00 for each meal. The drinks are pricey too such a shame.

Purpose-built Vintage Inn, as usual pretending to be a row of cottages, with standard interior divided into different areas with brickwork, reclaimed timber beams etc. Having said that, and despite emphasis on diners, it has a comfortable bar area and some reasonable ales including Butcombe Bitter and Taylor's Landlord. Cask Marque listed, and available of traditional ales featured on menu too - something to be commended for. Certainly worth visiting if eating out.
