The Crown was a stand alone pub that was one of four now closed pubs situated on a short stretch of commomside.
Once inside the pub had a decent sized bar where i had a drink,there was a seperate lounge which i did'nt look in.
The pub was an Hansons tied house at the time of my visit,there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hansons Mild which was a really nice drink,the other beer was Hansons bitter.
This was a decent pub to have a drink in.
The pub is still standing but looking in a sorry state,what a shame.
