Much as described by Jonathan, below, this single large bar feels quite open and airy, and there is a fairly calm atmosphere despite the number of young families here. It doesn’t have a lot of character, and there is no real ale or cider available. It is fairly harmless, but it’s not somewhere I’d bother seeking out again.

Now called the Iron Duke. Pretty rough around the edges with a fair amount of customers a little worse for wear! I was subjected to a drunken rendition of a Bob Marley classic followed by an even louder rendition of a UB40 track! Thank god for the small outside area at the front.
No ales on but a choice of 3 Butcombe bottles at £3 - Gold, Original and Goram IPA.
They have a target market and it suits them fine - I'm just not in it! Maybe "I am 1 in 10, a number on a list"

Despite me recently adding this establishment after visiting today I would like to address this is a bar but its a bar that has seen a niche in the sea side market. Stick a new soft play area in to attract parents with kids for food and drink. A point proven as my mate bumped into a work colleague doing just that on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Inside it's a large open room with sea views and a seating area out side. No real ale available just fosters, Thatchers gold and a third that escaped me. Various bottles available but couldn't confirm if any bitter available.

Advice if going to Burnham avoid if you've not got you're kids with you as in summer I expect it'll be living hell. It is pleasant enough to look out to sea but at times a dim of crying children will erupt with parents trying to make them apologise for whatever incident that has occurred to make Juno cry.
