Gosport's newest pub was built by Marston's in 2013 adjacent to the Gosport Leisure Centre on the main road into the town. It's formulaic and devoid of personality, carpeted in corporate style and serving a predictable menu, although the carvery portions looked massive. Staff were friendly enough but largly inefficient. It is very busy – being Gosport's new place to be - it does a lot of catering for famillies and works parties. There are 3 ales on – I had a pint of Hobgoblin which completely failed to satisfy, being both over-gassed and too cold. A good pint ruined. The staff were less than competent, but on the plus side there was no muzak. Let's see how it settles down.
