Strongers . left this review about The Emigration
I spent a while stood at the bar of the Emigration where I waited for the aged governor to finish cleaning up his nuts. My extended wait gave chatty Stu the chance to interrogate me about where I’d come from and where I was going. This seemed to be a very pressing issue for him, so I guess that this place doesn’t see many out-of-towners. I did finally manage to get served, but the options were only standard and premium keg. I decided to vacate the bar area to seating in the left rear where I watched Euro24 football on one of the many televisions throughout. Before leaving I noted some steps at the rear that lead down to a paved beer garden. I’d probably use this place if I lived locally, but as a non-resident I don’t plan to revisit.

The Emigration is a small looking pub that is situated on the end of a terrace of small shops.
Once inside the pub seemed bit bigger, there were two drinking areas to the front, this is where the main bar was, there was a seperate lounge to the rear,i had a drink in the front room which was fairly comfortable.
The pub was a Robinsons tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Robinsons bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Robinsons mild.
This was a decent pub to have drink in.
