Visited here for Lunch with wife and son 18/7/2014 Large pub / Restaurant with large conservatory at the rear and outside seating at the back too. The place has been about since 1865 and i would imagine it was a former coaching in or such. Inside is large with a bar receptuion area on entry and then a large inside seating area which leads through to the conservatory. Food was of decent quality, unfortunately they only had one ale on draught which was Wells and Youngs Bombardier and when it arrived it tasted very poor and despite them saying it was a fresh barrel that morning, it was clearly past its best and thus we were only able to swap it for whatever lager was on tap... I always think it's worth having at least two ales on draught as if one goes at least the other is a fall back. Nice staff and will visit again when passing.
