Blue Scrumpy left this review about Fyne Ales Brewery Tap
A fairly remote brewery tap housed in a farm outbuilding. It has a stone tiled floor and a long bar with 5 handpulls. Just 3 were clipped for my visit with Jarl, Highlander & No Nonsense available. Craft beers were Shenanigans, Rook, Workbench IPA & Easy Trail. Beers are listed behind the bar. In addition to canned cider, spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks, ice cream and bar snacks are also sold. Flights of three thirds are also available.
Against the far wall is a fridge and shelves of cans and bottles from both Fyne Ales and other breweries. Above these are lots of award certificates for the brewery and taproom. The wall opposite the bar had some artwork and also some t-shirts for sale. Dogs are allowed in. There is also an outdoor patio seating area to the rear.
Brewery tours are possible and a market was advertised for April 11th, as well as the Fyne Fest at the end of May into June.
This is a taproom that I've looked forward to visiting for a while. Finding any bar/pub/taproom with more than 2 cask ales in this part of Scotland is difficult. So, it's a good place to visit. In a way, I was still hoping for a better selection. I tried the No Nonsense, a new beer described as a West Coast Bitter. It wasn't really to my taste.
Advertised as open at 10am daily, the barman wasn't ready to serve any beer well beyond this time. So, it looks like they don't often get morning visitors. However, I wasn't the first, as I followed another group of 3 in.
