Formerly a traditional style South Side pub called “The Honours Three,” it has now been transformed into a passable imitation of a New York bar/diner. The walls are covered in American photos, posters, adverts and quotations from famous U.S. movies. It is divided into two separate sections, adjacent to each other and on the same level and there is a mix of sofa, chair and high bar-stool seating. A pint of Caledonia Best cost me £2.95 and Guinness, Budweiser, Stella Artois, Tennent’s lager and Strongbow cider are also on draught. There is also a coffee machine on the bar counter. While there’s nothing really to complain about here, I preferred its previous incarnation.
