Walkers was busy with an after work crowd during my Friday afternoon visit last week. There were a few people sitting at the circular bar that splits the left and larger right hand seating areas, but most were sitting outside enjoying the sun. I didn’t spot any televisions, but there was some generic ‘smooth’ music playing in the background.

The bar is stocked with standard draught and there was no real ale. I opted for a pint of Peroni which set me back £4.50. There is also a large cocktail menu and being a brasserie food is also available. The kitchen was closed during my visit so I didn’t see any menus to get an idea of prices; however I did learn that ‘Thursday is steak night’.

I think that the barman has a very high opinion of himself, but the barmaid was very friendly. This isn’t a place that I would go rushing back to, but as brasseries go it wasn’t that bad.
