Strongers . left this review about The Gregory
The Gregory Arms is a long pub with seating in the right where a dartboard hangs on the wall and access can be gained to the five upstairs bedrooms. A central laminate floored bar area has a serving counter across the rear that faces seating under the front windows. To the left is a substantial and well used double sided exposed brick fireplace that separates the bar area from a carpeted dining area in the left. To the left rear of the bar counter is a flagstone seating area with a viewing window in the floor that looks into an old well below, and out of the adjacent rear doors is a small enclosed patio area with picnic tables.
During a recent early Tuesday afternoon visit there was a premium selection of keg available alongside three hand pumps that were drawing Doom Bar, Old Peculiar and Salopian’s Firkin Freezing. The pub is food led, hence the enormous car park next to the pub. Public transport, or a car, are needed to visit from Grantham Town centre so I doubt I’ll ever visit again.
