A heavy facelift has created a semi-modern feel, with floorboards and leather furnishings and the usual mix of high- and low- tables. The building is L-shaped round a patio area, with access to a roof terrace above. Ales on were Hanlons Yellow Hammer and Tribute. Not perhaps a first choice to visit but adequate.

Can seem like an outlet for Eurotronics there's so much plasma in here. If watching Kettering Town v Hartlepool Rovers on six screens simultaneously while being tripped over by legless tango girls is your cup of tea then you're in for a great time. On the plus side it offers grandstand views for the occasional traffic accident on the island outside.
