Blue Scrumpy left this review about Deddington Arms Hotel
The Deddington Arms appears to major more on accommodation than anything. But it is one of 3 remaining pubs in Deddington and stocks 3 real ales. Hook Norton Hooky is a regular ale. Others on for our visit were Butcombe Bitter & Marston's Wainwright.
The bar appears to have lost a little of its character, if past photos are anything to go by, especially with a new modern bar front added. Off to the left is a large dining area, whilst the accommodation is in separate blocks around and beyond the rear car park.
We spent a fairly pleasant 20-30 minutes here watching the comings and goings in Deddington and of the two pubs we tried in the village, this was perhaps marginally the better one.

The Deddington Arms Hotel is a nice looking pub that is situated on horse fair looking down the market place.
Once inside the bar was facing, the room had a stone floor with a beamed ceiling, the seating was a mix of normal tables and chairs and leather settees, there was a seperate dining room to the left which looked quite busy.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hook Norton Hookey bitter which was a nice drink, the other beers were Adnams bitter and Black Sheep bitter.
The pub was very busy with a mixed bunch.
This was a decent enough pub to have a couple of Drinks in.
