The Pear Tree was a normal looking pub that had a strange looking function room to the right of it.
The pub was situated just down from the Woodman.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms,i had a drink in the bar which was basic but still a nice enough room to have a drink in.
The pub was a Banks's tied house and there were two real ales on the bar served by electric pump,i had a drink of Banks's bitter which was a decent drink.
Sadly this pub has now closed down, this area of Gornal Wood seems to have altered since my visit here.
