Alan Winfield left this review about The Limerick

The Limerick was a stand alone pub that was painted white.
The pub was situated very close to the Bush.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a decent bar and a smart lounge,i had a drink in the bar.
The pub was a Banks's tied house and there were two real ales on the bar both served by electric pump,i had a drink of Banks's bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Banks's mild.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
Sadly this pub has now been pulled down like many other pubs i did in this area in the late 80s.
