Alan Winfield left this review about Sugar Mill
The Sugar Mill is a new build Marstons house that is situated on the southern edge of Bourne.
Once inside it has the usuall layout of a large L shaped room with the bar facing, the front area was carpeted and had comfy bench seating and normal tables and chairs, the rear area was bare boarded and had a few leather settees.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons EPA which was a nice refreshing beer, the other beers were Pedigree,Banks's Sunbeam and Hobgoblin.
There were a few picnic tables outside which faced a building site, this will eventually become a Tesco petrol station,so not the ideal place to sit in the future.
This was a pleasant enough pub to have drink in,but it is just the same as many other new Marstons houses i have been in.
