Old Boots left this review about The Three Swords
A large greeny grey detached pub owned by Kirkstall whose brewery is a bit closer to Leeds eastwards along the A65. It’s one large but split level room with the L shaped counter to the rear left. Six handpumps reside on the apex with a selection from Kirkstall / Leeds and a Five Points, obviously well kept. A trio of big pipes and a duo serve Kirkstall kegs and a few others. Parquet and tiled floor in the lower section, to the right is a raised area with booth seating fronted by more raised seating on the lower part. The lower area is mostly furnished with low tables and chairs with a sprinkling of taller ones at the far left and a modern three piece suite by the entrance vestibule. Colour scheme is mellower tones of wood and of course a bit of greeny grey. Decorated with old brewery mirrors and there’s an old door in one wall looking odd. It does Indian street food and more substantial Indian food as pungent aromas tell you on entering. Very classily done and popular as a lot of tables were reserved on a Friday evening. Toilets upstairs at far left.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Three Swords
This pub is still looking like it was only newly refurbished. The interior is spacious with lots of good seating options available, this includes booths the whole way along the right hand side raised area. There was a welcoming nice selection of six ales, on handpump on the corner of the bar as we walked in. The line up was 3 Kirkstall Three Swords, Jasper and Dexter. Three guests Tetley, Leeds Yorkshire Gold and Brew York Clementine Chameleon. The beer quality on our visit was sublime, they also offer an in house curry and beer deal.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Swords
Excellent Kirkstall Brewery pub that's much more interesting than the rather austere dark-green exterior might suggest. The interior has a smart semi-traditional look, with a L-shaped seating area around the bar and a raised section to the right. Indian food is available from the 'Karobar' kitchen linked to the Dastaan restaurant. I found five of the six handpumps in use, pouring the eponymous extra pale ale (£4.604), Leeds Pale and the Thornbridge collaboration 'prize milk stout', and guest ales from Round Corner and Five Points. Plenty of the brewery's craft beers also available from the various keg taps.

Will Larter left this review about The Three Swords
Now owned by Kirkstall Brewery and opened in August 2023 as the Three Swords. It's been done in the usual Kirkstall house style of traditional pub features, either reproduction or salvage, though the building itself is obviously not a traditional pub. There are six hand pumps on the bar, with just two Kirkstall beers, plus two from Leeds Brewery (now owned by Kirkstall, as I understand), one from Allsopps (last I heard being brewed in Sheffield, but planning to move back to Burton), and one from Five Points (whose beers often feature at the Cardigan Arms). It was very busy indeed on a Friday evening, with families and groups of friends doing a lot of eating and a fair amount of drinking. My two beers were tremendous - the Leeds Pale the best I have ever had of this beer and the Kirkstall brew that gives the pub its name as near perfect as makes no odds. I must come back at a quieter time and drink my way along the bar.
