Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cask Kitchen

Despite the name, this odd looking building is now run by a coffee company, and although it has a semi-modern café-style bar area there is also a separate dining room. Cask ale is also available too, albeit just the seasonal Wicked Witch from Milestone (£3.00, half) from a solitary handpump in addition to a few BrewDog and other standard keg beers.

ROB Camra left this review about Lincoln Taphouse

I used to visit here when I worked in Lincoln when it was a high class restaurant. It still has a kitchen, but it must specialise in fried stuff as the whole place reeked of cooking fat. There's a number of uninteresting keg beers along the back wall of the bar. We decided to have drinks, but were both disappointed with the service and quality. This is an opportunity missed.

It would appear that people agree with us as it has been reported as closed by Lincoln CAMRA on 29/05/2019.

Two rooms, one for drinkers the other for diners, including a pizza oven. Roof terrace. Various cask ales but no real ale.

Old Boots left this review about Lincoln Taphouse & Kitchen

Pretty high in the pretentious stakes but not quite up there with The Strait & Narrow or Cask but close. It's had a few names changes in a few years which is invariably a bad sign but in spite of the "head up arse" style and the "rabbits caught in the headlights" staff it's not bad all round and worth a quick visit when you're on a crawl round the Cathedral/Castle area. There are six pulls with a reasonable choice of mainly pale beers. It also has a roof terrace under the castle walls and the kitchen is open in one corner of the main bar.

Alan Winfield left this review about Terrace on the Bail

The Terrace on the Bail is a modern bar that is situated in a prime location close to Lincoln castle and the shops on bailgate.
Once inside there is a single irregular shaped room with the bar facing, the room is bare boarded, the seating is mainly normal tables and chairs but there are a few leather settees, all tables had table cloths on them which did'nt look right, this really annoyed my wife.
There was one handpump on the bar which had a beer called Wonderland, this was a decent drink, but i dont know who brewed this beer.
There is a room upstairs which also has a bar,the bar was unmanned but the room was in use as the bar was so busy.
This was not really our sort of pub.
