The owners of the Botanist chain tend to spend a bit of money on the furniture and décor, and this place is no different. Wood flooring runs throughout and there is a central wall that separates the left-hand bar area and seating to the right. There is some seating in the front windows and the bar counter runs up the left-hand wall whilst facing a long leather banquette with a couple of attractive tables and some equally impressive wooden topped metalwork stools. There is more seating upstairs and behind a curtain at the rear. Premium keg was available alongside an extensive cocktail menu. I found the two staff on duty to be polite, but these Botanist bars aren’t aimed at the likes of me so I’m unlikely to return.
