Old Boots left this review about The Roebuck
One of those edge of town family eating pubs set in a landscape of DIY barns, soulless offices and a supermarket. It’s a single storey building with access naturally from the rear car park, open plan inside but divided up by short walls, half glass screens and the like. Roughly an L shape with the similar shaped counter in the angle done in a pleasant herringbone pattern. With wood, tile and carpet floors, it has a mix of wall styles; brick, tongue & groove and plain plastered, a range of photos etc on various subjects adorn the walls. A screen on news and piped music are probably as expected too. Beer choices much as normal for these places, a selection of the standard UK keg range with three pulls providing, as this is a Marstons’ pub, a selection of Carlsberg’s ex Marstons beer portfolio. On this occasion Wainwright Gold or Hobgoblin Ruby, the on-line menu claimed just Pedigree was available but obviously they don’t keep that up to date, the average beer was delivered in a nasty old fashioned handled mug. Little here to tempt the serious beer drinker.

My wife and I went in for meal on the 3rd February.
Told to sit on a table for 2 up a corner as window seat were only for parties of four and they couldn't afford to change it. We felt like second class customers. I was front of house for a 16th century restaurant for four years and wouldn't have been in business for long treating customers like that.
We left and will not set foot in the place again and would recommend everyone else to do the same.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Roebuck
Very new, food-led, edge of town, Marstons outlet. Low building with a large 'L'-shaped bar and various seating areas. Patio and grass beer garden to one side, with a childrens play area to the rear. Pedigree, Sneck Lifter and Boondoggle (£3.00) available from two banks of four handpumps. Overall, probably does what it does pretty well, but distinctly anonymous.
