Strongers . left this review about Bishops Bar
I swung by Bishops Bar about a month ago on a very sunny weekday afternoon when the whole area was buzzing with tourists and holidaymakers. It was surprisingly empty inside and only a couple of the table in the large front courtyard were being used. My visit was just after lunch and there is a restaurant to the right of the bar so maybe I missed the rush period. The bar is located to the left of the building. There is a plasma screen that was showing muted Olympics and some loud music from the Gypsy Kings was playing.
There is no draught here so the beer comes in bottles. The menu is mostly seafood which is understandable as this place is 100 yards from where the fishing boats drop off their loads.
I found the barman to be very friendly and I enjoyed my brief stop off here. Although this isn’t a pub it would still be my choice of venue at Lulworth Cove on a hot summer’s day.
