Soup Dragon left this review about The Weary Traveller

This is a detached pub and eatery, with a patio, beer garden and kid's play area. The pub has two parts; a nice Georgian styled brick cottage, with sash windows and neo-classic porch and a lower level modern extension in brick and cream painted brick. The interior has two rooms. The main room is the lounge/dining area. It is an open plan room in heavy wood panel, with some brick, green and cream. It has a lot of plates, old photos, etchings and prints to give a historic feel. There is a carvery area. There was no TV here, or music. The back room is in the extension. It is in red, white and wood panel and is the bar - having a pool table, dart board and a TV (not on, as nobody in). The service was fine and a few people were in, diners mainly. Beer; usual tap stuff with a handpull for Dartmoor Best, which was not on. I had a cider. A place to go for food and with the family, i feel - the lack of real ale means i wouldn't go out my way just for a drink.
