The Ship was a typical 70s built estate pub that was on the corner of cross lane and liverpool street.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a decent lounge and a functional bar where i had a drink,by the time i got round to do this pub it had been taken over by Vaux of Sunderland,there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Vaux Samson and this was a very nice drink,the other beer was Vaux bitter.
This was a decent enough pub that i was happy enough having a drink in,sadly this pub closed in more recent years after trouble,it has now been pulled down like many other of Salfords pubs.
