The Flat Iron was a large old pub that was situated in the market area of the Pendleton,close to the precinct.
Once inside this pub had a couple of rooms that i noticed, i had a drink in the bar which was very basic and had a very rough edge to it.
The pub was a Whitbread tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Boddingtons bitter and this was a decent enough drink.
This pub was'nt for the feint hearted.
Sadly this pub has now been pulled down.
