The Banyan Tree is a long thin bar with floor to ceiling windows that run across the frontage. The small bar counter on the rear wall to the left supports five premium keg products, one of which was a nice Birra Moretti. Seating runs along the front windows and there are a couple of televisions that were off during an early Wednesday evening visit back in November. There was however some low background music playing. I found the staff to be friendly, but I’m not a fan of table service unless I’m eating, which is possible here.

Typical cafe bar under an apartment block. Lots of dining tables and chairs. A pair of sofas near the door and a small raised area with leather look seating. There are tables and chairs outside on the pavement with a lovely view of a building site. Nice. No real ale of course but several lager taps. A half of San Miguel was £2.10. I'll not be bothering to walk out here again.
