Permission given for change of use to residential, according to this in the local paper: https://www.ludlowadvertiser.co.uk/news/20012175.decision-made-future-countryside-pub/. It was said not to have operating as a pub since 2016.

Kingstone Rosy purportedly on tap, but not on; "We've got Strongbow," quoth the landlord. Then proceeds to pour me a pint from a supermarket two-litre bottle! Tut! Unimpressed. Comfy sofas; interesting looking menu; cheery landlady. Seems to act as the internet access point for the area. As for the apples, must try harder.
