Graham Coombs left this review about Old White Hart
From the outside, this appears to be an old inn with a mid-war extension. This is lost going inside, with the whole interior in a 1990s sort of modernisation, with separate areas partly knocked through and odd patches of colour breaking up a pale blue paint scheme that just feels too bright and wrong. Having got over the appearance, there is definitely a strong pub feel, including a couple of pool tables and a dartboard, and it was nice to see a regular's dog supplied with a bowl of water. The garden area at the rear seemed fairly large but not hugely exciting, with rows of tables. Still a Greene King pub, the ales were Abbot, IPA and TT Landlord, the latter not as cold as some outlets but with a slightly gassy taste.

Don't mistake this modernish, in spite of the name, Greene King pub for the similarly named but far superior White Hart Hotel down the road. This is a post war opened out place with averagely kept diactyle laden beers from the Greene King family plus national keg brands. Four pulls here just recorded for completeness. A big open plan space with a couple of pool tables in one part, seating in another and various non descript bits here and there. A few screens showing sports are dotted about, a machine or two, undemanding only just post-teen punters and piped music make it all fairly ordinary.

A reasonably large pub, The Old White Hart, which by the way is nowhere near as old as The White Hart Hotel a few hundred yards down the road, is a Greene King pub and serves exclusively GK related beers, normally 2 or 3 as well as the usual Lagers etc. There are TVs ,Pool and darts, and a very large if uninteresting beer garden. It has a basic food menu, I would say the pub attracts the less cultured of the local community and as such given the available ale I will leave this one to the local Lager drinkers.
