Soup Dragon left this review about The Bell Inn
A detached Victorian corner pub. It is in cream, with a red string course and quoins. The upper floor has a row of sash windows, while a couple of rounded entrances separate three sash windows on the ground floor. The interior has a couple of rooms. To the left there is a lounge, which was deserted and in the dark, except for a couple of kids playing - i did see a pool table though. The other room is the bar, served from the same central island bar. This was the opposite, a small straight room that was very busy with locals. It is in grey wood and white, with grey carpet and white ceiling. There is a TV (not on) and the music was general, but a bit on the loud side. There is a dart board and a bit of footy memorabilia on the walls. There are a couple of fireplaces and a sofa to go with the general seating. They do bar food. The service was fine. Beer; usual tap stuff really and i was a bit surprised to fine a handpull with O'Hanlons Yellow Hammer, which was decent. A pub to pop into for one.
