Well. Doesn't have any signage (I walked past it, didn’t even see it first time) and looks dilapidated and like it'll be awful and…yes it is. An incredibly basic knocked-through dim room in grey and turquoise. Jumbo dogs everywhere with Blaze (I kid you not) on the telly and a portable gas heater on the go. No pumps and very little keg, so I plumped for the safe choice of Sandford Red keg cider. One other customer who shoved-off a couple minutes after my arrival, so an awkward 10 minutes with the down-at-mouth landlord it ended-up being. How this place has hung on I don't know, but surely it’s not got long left – it feels like it’s already on life support and has a 'do not resuscitate' sign at the end of the bed.
