Blue Scrumpy left this review about Goring Social Club
Situated on the road from the station into the village centre, Goring Social Club has space for 5 or 6 cars to the front, with the entrance off to the right-hand side.
The guy working the bar had just returned from university and wasn't too sure about whether non-members could come in, when I enquired. However, he didn't seem too concerned about me being there and there was no mention of a £1 or £2 charge for non-members of the club.
There are a couple of rooms. But there were only about 4 other customers in, all of whom were sat at one table. A TV was showing the latest football scores, with the usual inane Saturday afternoon commentary.
3 real ales are served. These were Loddon Hullalbaloo, St Austell Tribute & Amwell Springs Chairman Dave. At just 3.5%, the Chairman Dave didn't really have much substance and was fairly typical of most of the bitters I tried in this neck of the woods today.

Quinno _ left this review about Goring Social Club
Situated in the picturesque Berkshire village of Goring, the social club stocks three real ales in excellent condition (GBG standard). Décor is homely, in a slightly dated 1970's manner – red carpet and fabric banquette seating. Two dart boards, pool, jukebox and quizzer offered, with two full-sized snooker tables hidden out the back. A small entry fee is charged though both times I’ve sauntered in without any bother.
