Visited 14/08/25. Visited as Louche Soho on 05/09/22.

No cask. Keg offering of Madri, Pravda, Guinness, Blue Moon, Jute Session IPA and Jubel Peach lager.

Bare boarded bar with live music from a stage at the rear of the venue opposite the entrance. The bar counter is on the right-hand side with a dividing wall with a couple of walk thoughs either end of the bar counter. The left-hand side has some small square tables along the wall with tall tables on the dividing wall served by a leather banquette on one side and tall stools on the other side. There are some benches in front of the stage. On the same side as the bar counter there is an area at the front of the venue “the room where it happens”, but not quite sure what “it” is and would want to know one way or the other, and otherwise regular tables and chairs on that side beyond the bar counter plus a few drinking ledges served by tall stools. There are some large booth tables downstairs. The walls are covered with photos of famous people and scenes of Soho nightlife. Actually, a pleasant location for the area and time of day and nice to get out of the oppressive conditions outside to have a cool beer and to listen to some music.

Fairly straight-friendly gay bar. Two floors, downstairs sometimes has functions in it (pay on entry) but upstairs is usually free. Sampled upstairs, two rooms decorated in a combination of wood panelling, mirrors, plush red and black furry flock wallpaper and subdued lighting. Bar service is fairly slow, think some staff employed for aesthetics over ability. Drinks range is limited to wine, spirits and cocktails with the odd bottled lager and cider thrown in. Not cheap but then again no surprise. Quite a nice atmosphere in fairness, background music not overly loud. Won't leave a rating as I'm not one to judge how good this place as regards its particular target market :)
