The Old Veteran was a nice old pub that was situated just off eccles new road.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a fairly nice room.
When i visited this pub it was a Greenalls tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Stones bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Greenalls bitter and mild.
This pub is still standing but has sadly closed down.
