Ecclesiastical frontage but a modern upmarket bar/restaurant inside, done-out in dark blue and white with a fairly terrible mid 00's soundtrack that made it feel like a nightclub. Three sticks with a token ale on in the form of Wadworth Henry's (inevitably) which was perfunctory (NBSS 2). Wrong vibe, which might explain why it was quiet on Saturday when other places were busy.
