The Anchor is a stand alone pub that is on a very busy stretch of road.
There are a few picnic tables at the front of the pub if you like watching HGVs go by.
When i first went in this pub it was a Ind Coope tied house and ther was one real ale which was Ind Coope bitter and this was a decent enough drink.
The pub was fairly smart inside and we were happy enough having a drink in here.
This pub is still open but i dont know what beers it now has on.
