The Brook & Barter is a very large pub that looks like an ex SMith & Jones pub,but i may be wrong,the pub is in a prime location on the market square.
Once inside there is a seating area near the entrance,the main bar area is up two steps,the room is very large and oblong shaped running to the rear.
The bar is on the mid lest side,there is a slight raised area opposite the bar,the seating is normal tables and chairs plus some tall tables and chairs,there is a DJ rig to the mid right and a pool table to the rear.
There was one real ale on the which was Pedigree,this was a decent enough drink.
The pub was empty on our Saturday dinner visit.
This is a typical town centre drinking barn.
