As the name would suggest, this is a corner pub with a traditional, but quirky atmosphere which seems to have a few regular patrons.

Inside, the bar also bends around a corner. The barman/landlord was a rather strange chap who was very proud to be stocking the Bass he served me. Tribute is the other regular beer. 6X was the guest ale.

Music was playing at a really loud volume, considering the lack of punters. Those that were in were either playing or watching a dominoes game which was being played at the far end of the bar. At the rear is a corridor with toilets accessed rather strangely through a set of beaded curtains and what looked like a smaller enclosed room.

I found this to be a rather intriguing pub, with a quirkiness that you can often find in some West Country town pubs. The pub certainly has plenty of character and the Bass was in good nick.
