A detached and rather austere looking Marston's pub/eatery in undressed brick, with rear extension and with patio areas at the front and back of the pub.

The interior is a T-shape and is basically laid out for dining. If entering from the car park the bar is to the left. The decor is a mix of cream, dark red and undressed brick, with a white ceiling. There were old photos and pictures of old adverts on the walls to supply a bit of interest. There was no TV that i saw, and the music was general and quiet. The service was fine and there was no other real clientele at my visit.

Beer; tap stuff with Burton Bitter, Pedigree and a decent enough Banks's Bitter on handpull.

A tidy enough place, serving the general Marston's food range and a basic Marston's beer range. One for the Sunday diner, i think.

The White Swan is a large pub that is mainly used by diners making it more like a restaurant with a bar.
Having said that there were three real ales on the bar all from the Marstons group i had a drink of Pedigree which was ok the other beers were Banks's Lions Roar and jennings Tom Fool.
This is not the sort of pub to go to for just a drink but drinkers are still made welcome.
