The Finniestoun is a small L-shaped pub with seating across the front, a serving counter on the left-hand wall and some booths with stained glass screens at the rear. I was greeted at the door by the friendly governor who said I could sit wherever I wanted, so I chose the beer shelf in the front window where I could survey the entire pub. Standard keg was available alongside Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo and Neck Oil. Yes this place is dry led and it is table service, but I was made to feel very welcome and I liked the traditional pub décor, even if this is more likely a shop conversion. I’d pop back in if passing.
