Soup Dragon left this review about Fox & Dogs

This is the oldest of the two pubs on this stretch of the High St, which were once separated by King's Heath Place. The core of the building is Victorian, although the side frontage was extended possibly by the end of the Victorian period. The pub consistes of a cottage style house in cream and brick, with a low-level side extension in cream render. The interior has a couple of rooms; the main room and a function room that i did not see. The main room is L-shaped with a pool table at one end. It has cream walls and white ceiling with a plain tile fireplace. There is no real art, TV nor was there any music on. I was the only customer, though the service was very friendly. Beer; no real ale. Usual keg drinks, although the MILD wasn't on, so i had a half of cider. A nice enough stop-off, just nothing for the real ale fan.
